Description:
The John W. Engeman Theater is currently seeking carpenters and stage technicians. We are looking for technicians and carpenters with experience in any/all fields (Lighting, Sound, and Carpentry.) Having experience in multiple fields is a plus. We have shows running all year around. Candidates will be working in our scenic shop in Ronkonkoma as well as a 400 seat Proscenium theater.
Qualifications:
- General Stagecraft and carpentry skills
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights
- Experience using power tools
- Ability to take direction from TD
- MUST be local to Long Island or NYC
