Description:
Job Summary
Molto Music Group is a London-based creative company in music and live events. We curate residencies at prestigious venues, create and musically direct in-house bands, and partner with high-profile luxury brand events.
Job Description
Role Overview:
Molto Music Group's continued growth requires a Production Manager to lead the technical delivery and operational standards across both residencies and events. This role covers venue scoping, technical specification, equipment booking, logistics, crew & engineer coordination, on-site delivery, and post-event checks - ensuring every setup meets the expectations of the luxury sector.
The Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for a highly organised, proactive self-starter with a strong technical foundation in live music production and a calm, solutions-first approach under pressure. You'll be detail-obsessed about presentation and consistency, able to manage multiple moving parts, and comfortable supporting creative delivery while staying on top of budgets and logistics.
The role will be predominantly office-based with onsite work at residencies, events and site visits when required. Regular office hours are 10am - 6pm at our central London headquarters.
Job Requirements
3+ years in live music production and/or technical management (luxury hospitality/events experience strongly preferred).
Strong working knowledge of live audio, backline, creating show files and event logistics (load-in/out, access planning, couriers, schedules).
Confident in producing technical briefs, stage plots, call sheets and quotes.
Experience managing inventory and rental systems (Hirehope), stock checks, asset tracking and warehouse standards.
Meticulous attention to detail and presentation - able to maintain consistent 5-star venue standards.
Strong communication skills; confident liaising with clients, venues, suppliers and engineers.
Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to last-minute changes; evenings/weekends required around events.
Job Responsibilities
Venue & residency production: scope venues via site visits (access, tech needs, weekly ops); specify/source backline & kit (PA, mics, lighting) using MMG stock/partners; manage HireHop projects, equipment lists and check-out/in; oversee installs, load-ins and weekly logistics; create venue/performance guides and musician setup docs with photos; set line-check/sound-balance approach; maintain stock accuracy, log loss/damage and support residency P&Ls by capturing full asset value.
Events: scope get-in/out, loading and courier needs; build technical/courier quotes and production options; book engineers/crew and onboard new talent; issue call sheets, kit lists and schedules; prep/pack, lead setup and pack-down; manage returns, cleaning/testing and missing/damage checks. Ops & partners: run stock checks/warehouse upkeep, coordinate repairs, improve storage; register new assets; manage supplier relationships, value-led sourcing/contra and wish lists; support decks, riders and stage plot
How to Apply
Full-time position, working 10am–6pm (plus out-of-hours events and residencies when required). Based in the West End, Central London, with a mix of office time and on-site delivery. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience.
Benefits include private health care after two years, Soho Works membership, access to exclusive events plus food and beverage discounts, and Apple iMac desktop + work mobile phone provided.
