Summary

The Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance at Southeast Missouri State University seeks a full-time Technical Director to fulfill duties during a 10-month assignment from July 15 to May 15 annually. The successful candidate will join an energetic 25+ person theatre and dance faculty and staff, with a load equivalent to 40 hours per week in the areas of technical direction, stagecraft, scene painting, technical drawing, properties construction, electrics, and other related areas of production. The candidate will serve as the conservatory’s technical director for 5-6 mainstage productions each academic year, and mentor students on signature series and workshop productions, with the possibility of teaching each fall and spring semester.
