Description:
Aerial Days run aerial classes near Archway for adults and children, 4 days a week.
We are looking for an intermediate to advanced level teacher to teach Silks and Rope from mid February (It could be one person or 2-3 people who are committed to teaching regularly for the whole term).
The role involves:
- Teaching Rope and Silks in one class.
- Set up and pack up of equipment and awkward mats.
- Awareness and strong adherence of health and safety protocols.
- Able to lead stretch downs and warm ups.
The teacher should:
- Be comfortable working with young people from 7 years to adults in their 50s.
- Have a positive teaching style.
- Be able to teach intermediate and some advanced preparation skills.
- Able to handle some mixed level classes.
- Be a team player with excellent time keeping.
- Demonstrate clear planning for classes and the term.
- Hold a DBS certificate.
- Teaching Insurance
Days and times are:
- Wednesdays 6-8.30pm (some weeks 7.45pm).
- Thursdays 4.30-8.45pm.
- Saturdays 11.45-3.45pm (sometimes 5.30pm).
