ROYO are looking for experienced Production staff for the 2026 Curve and London Coliseum Run of Kinky Boots the Musical.
Job Description
This joy-filled sensation, based on a true story and hit movie, features Tony and Grammy winning music and lyrics by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, a hilarious and life-affirming book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein and is directed by Nikolai Foster (Grease and The Wizard of Oz).
PRODUCTION DATES:
Rehearsal Dates: 9th February - 22nd February 2026 (Curve, Leicester - Monday to Saturday)
Get-In & Technical Rehearsals at Curve, Leicester: W/C 23rd February 2026
Performance Dates at Curve, Leicester: W/C 2nd March 2026
Get-In & Technical Rehearsals at London Coliseum: W/C 9th March 2026
Performance Dates at London Coliseum: 17th March - 11th July 2026

Job Requirements
Deliver all services required for a first-class production to the highest professional standards.
Collaborate with the Director, Creative Team, Company Manager, Stage Management, and production staff.
Ensure the smooth running of rehearsals, technical rehearsals, performances, fit-ups, and load-outs.
Manage backstage and onstage areas, overseeing scene changes and maintaining safety.
Oversee daily setups, performance pre-sets, and Stage Management tracks.
Maintain the production as instructed by the original and resident creative teams.
Produce accurate, detailed production paperwork and reports.
Communicate effectively with Company, Production, and General Management.
Cover all Stage Management tracks when required.
Support and train new staff and deputies.
Monitor understudy and swing performances.
Complete and submit weekly timesheets promptly.
Lead the Stage Management department during fit-ups and load-outs.
Job Responsibilities
Communicate clearly and confidently within the Stage Management team, across technical departments, and with performers and production staff to ensure smooth collaboration.
Remain calm and focused under pressure, maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced, live production environment.
Apply strong problem-solving skills to anticipate and resolve challenges quickly and effectively.
Demonstrate practical making skills, particularly in carpentry and joinery, to support the needs of the production.
Maintain thorough knowledge of, and compliance with, all relevant Health & Safety regulations, including safe working at height, correct use of protective equipment, and participation in any required safety training to uphold a secure and efficient working environment.
