Cirque du Soleil Casting team is seeking a professional Female Dancer of African heritage for our show MJ ONE
*** APPLICATION DEADLINE: DECEMBER 19, 2021 ***
Character traits:
Female
African heritage
Slender or Athletic body type
Ideal height between 5'0" and 5'5"
Requirements:
Ability to portray character’s traits
Strong ability to learn and perform dance choreography, with a strong emphasis in hip hop and MJ styles
Experience dancing in heels
Experience with dance partnering, cheer stunting or tumbling is a plus
Acting experience or training is a plus
Willingness to learn and train new skills is a plus
Strong charisma and presence on stage
Ability to perform consistently 10 shows per week

Professional dance experience
Partnering, cheer stunting or tumbling skills
Ability to learn and perform dance choreography
