The Hanover Theatre Conservatory is seeking 2 highly qualified ballet instructors to join our Dance Faculty. The individual must be capable of teaching introductory through advanced classes as students range in age from 10 years old through adult. Would be responsible for teaching at least 3 hours of classes ranging from 60 to 90 minutes and could be on one or multiple days depending on schedule. Potential for providing private lessons for interested students.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 5+ years working with students (of any age).
· Classroom management skills
· Highly skilled with developing choreography for class performances and/or elite dance competitions
· Extensive professional work and/or teaching in the performing arts
· Bachelors degree in related performing arts fields, Masters degree in arts or education greatly preferred
· Reliable transportation (THTC is located half a mile from Union Station- the Worcester Commuter Rail stop and/or we provide validated parking)
