Teaching nine (9) 90-minute Roots of Contemporary Performance classes in the winter term (January 3 – March 4).
Class Description: This course will touch on specific artistic movements in the second half of the 20th century which have led to contemporary aesthetics. Surveying dance, theatre, and other performance practices, the class draws parallels between and post-modern movements in various disciplines and attempts to define figures who have had an outsize influence on contemporary circus. Class dates, times, and salary TBD.
