The award-winning Irish Repertory Theatre Company, which celebrates 35+ years of presenting work by Irish and Irish-American classic and contemporary playwrights, is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the newly-created position of Operations Manager.

The Operations Manager will report to the General Manager and will be an integral part of the Irish Rep Team. Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our key operational systems, including IT systems and facilities, and will support General Management with some basic HR and operational accounting functions.

Operation Manager's Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

IT Management
• Act as primary liaison between the Irish Rep and third party IT service provider for computer, network and phone system maintenance and troubleshooting;
• Liaise between staff and third party IT service provider to resolve IT-related issues that may arise;
• Manage equipment maintenance, supplies and troubleshooting for Xerox machine, printers, postal machine, etc.;
• Manage long term IT projects in collaboration with our third party IT provider, including a move to cloud-based server and the introduction of a unified file sharing system (Sharepoint).

Facilities/Office Management
• Oversee event set up and breakdown of rehearsal room and theatre/event spaces in collaboration with General Management, Development, Marketing and Production departments;
• Utilize and update calendars related to internal events;
• Coordinate building maintenance contractors for fire systems, HVAC, etc;
• Oversee and/or perform routine and preventative maintenance, and cosmetic repairs to premises, and including doors, windows, floors, walls, mirrors, etc. and replacement of small appliances;
• Respond to urgent matters and emergencies such as power outages HVAC, fire alarm and security issues;
• Liaison with cleaning company and manage schedule;
• Handle building key management;
• Keep emergency safety plans and fire evacuation plans up-to-date and ensure staff is properly trained for emergencies;
• Liaise with exterminator and other miscellaneous responsibilities;
• Insurance management and issuing of Certificates of Insurance (COIs);
• Archiving and organizing physical files/materials in office and storage;
• Manage and order office supplies;
• Perform other duties as reasonably assigned by management.

Human Resources
Assist General Management with:
• Workers Comp (claim processing and troubleshooting and annual audit and renewals);
• Benefits administration;
• Paid Time Off (PTO) tracking;
• Long term HR projects.

Finance/Accounting
Assist General Management with:
• Payroll and budgeting related to IT, Facilities and events
• Expense and credit card reconciliation

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing Information Technology (IT) operations and/or building operations;?
• Experience with event management and/or theatrical production;
• Experience using email, digital calendars, file sharing platforms, and willingness to learn and use digital platforms; knowledge of Sharepoint, Dropbox and Quickbooks a plus;
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform manual labor as needed;
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and/or painting a plus;
• Flexible schedule with some night/weekend work required;?
• A positive attitude, creative mindset, ability to work autonomously and collaboratively;?
• Must acquire FDNY Certificates of Fitness F-03 Public Assembly and S95 Supervision of Fire Alarms;
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor.?

Salary/Benefits
$62,000.00 - 66,000.00 per year
Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay: $62,000-66,000 annually, ($30-31.73 hour - 40 hours per week), commensurate with experience. Non-Exempt
