The call is now open for emerging bands from the Metropolitan Region to participate in the seventh edition of the Festival de Música al Margen 2026, an event that seeks to make visible and empower emerging bands from the independent circuit.

The festival is aimed at groups with a maximum of three years of experience, open to any musical style, and featuring original compositions. The event will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at the Juan Estay Cultural Center in Puente Alto, consolidating itself as a key platform for musicians who have had few opportunities for dissemination and who seek to perform professionally, sharing the stage with established artists. In this edition, the festival also includes a tribute to the vocalist of the band Los Peores de Chile, Mario "POGO" Carneyro, who passed away in October 2022, as a way of recognizing his legacy in the Chilean music scene.
