Description:The CircusDanceFestival is looking for film contributions for the open-air cinema program.In cooperation with the Cologne based Moovy Filmfestival selected films will be presented in the frame of the Open Air cinema at CircusDanceFestival on 7th or 8th June 2025. Wanted: We are looking for films – whether they are short or long, experimental, performative, documentary or other. We are particularly looking for contributions from the field of circus. Hybrid forms are welcome. Open Calls for dance films exist at other occasions (Check the open call by Moovy Dancefilm Festival!). We are also further interested in experimental works that focus on the body, sound, light or similar. Not wanted: We are not looking for live stream recordings of stage work or non-professional video or film footage, as well as films or works that relate exclusively to the Corona Pandemic or Lockdown phase. Technical Info: • The submitted film works must be in high quality or HD. • The film works will be presented on a large format LED or film screen open air and presented with silent headphones for the audience. Applications by women, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC and people with disability or a refugee or migration background are explicitly welcome.
