Description:The National Circus School of Châtellerault – ENCC – was founded in 1995. The school's mission is to provide training in the circus arts. For several years, the school has chosen to focus on creative circus. In addition to all the activities carried out by the circus arts training, the school hosts circus companies in residence .The school encourages experimentation, reflection and creativity and plans to strengthen the relationship between the residents' new creations and the artistic training of the circus arts students. The school aims to create an active, critical and dynamic environment. A maximum of 4 projects will be retained after being selected by a committee of directors of circus organizations and professionals which will be organized by the ENCC in May 2023. The jury's decisions will not be motivated or subject to appeal. The choice of companies will be based on the richness and originality of their proposal, their artistic and aesthetic approaches, but also on their specific educational proposal in interaction with the ENCC students. The results will be announced by email, on social networks, and on the website www.ecoledecirque.org . Deadline for submission of applications: thursday 21 April 2023 inclusive.
