Circusplaneet is a Ghent-based organization focused on a passion for circus. Circus is their way of helping people grow and connect, both individually and as a group. Together, they strive for an open, diverse, and welcoming society. To highlight their mission, vision, and activities during events, they are looking for a production worker.
Your responsibilities:
* You are responsible for organizing various major events at Circusplaneet: neighborhood circus festivals, the annual showcases, and Planet Sierk during the Ghent Festivities.
* You ensure the smooth running of a number of smaller events: Funky Friday, Wintercircusplaneet, Auberge Espagnole…
* You will oversee the production of the annual youth production group: contacting parents, booking venues, coordinating with artists, managing the budget, etc.
* You are always responsible for the entire process of an event: preparation, realization and evaluation.
* You create clear scripts with timings, planning, catering, budget, safety...
* You will work closely with the district coordinators, artists, (district) partners, volunteers and the Circusplaneet team to shape these events.
* You are a link between different actors and ensure a smooth flow of information.

* A part-time contract (19 hours/week) of indefinite duration.
* A salary within scale B1c of PC329.01 – max. 10 years of relevant seniority.
