### Project Overview
Hello Hello! This is a casting call for The Prelude of "The Circus of Chaos: a TADC x Purge AU". This project is part animatic/visual novel and part audio drama.
Content Warning: Due to the nature of the source material, this project is seeking actors 16 years and older. The series touches on subjects such as:
* Sexual Assault
* Domestic Abuse
* Infidelity
* Violence
* Racism/Classism/Sexism
* Ableism
* Betrayal
### Medium
The Circus of Chaos is an alternate universe/human AU to the popular animated series "The Amazing Digital Circus." This story aims to be told as an audio drama with the exception of The Prelude, which will be done as an animatic/visual novel style. The series will mainly rely on voice acting to tell the story. We are only doing the Prelude for now, and maybe the rest of the story down the road.
### Story
Set during the eleventh year of The Purge, The Ring Master is contacted by a potential new ally to seek revenge on those who killed the Queen. However, in searching for one answer, he encounters some that connect to questions that had once lay forgotten. Are those answers worth the headache, heartbreak, and bloodshed?
The characters personalities tend to differ in and out of the Purge Masks. Within each description, you'll see a IN (how they act in mask) and an OUT (how they act as people). These are added to give a better look at each of the characters.
Things to keep in mind:
* This is Casting Call is only for the Prelude/Pilot. Please ensure that you can commit to the role as there is a high possibility that we may continue with the rest of the entries.
* We are currently only casting the main cast at this time.
* One person may be accepted for multiple roles and may be asked to read for side characters.
* Some roles with require you to scream, shout, or even curse.
* The creator and the team are located in the USA, EST. Our time zones may not align, so if you have questions please allow us 24-48 hours to respond.
* This project is made purely for fun.
Rules for submission:
* Please provide your Discord Account in your audition.
* Send at least 3 takes per line.
* Minimal to no background noise is required. As this is intended to be an audio play, the lines need to be as clear as possible for the editors to work with.

Hello Hello! Welcome to Round Two! We have welcomed a majority of the main cast except for our beloved Ring Master, and some dual roles. As those roles are still open, we have extended the deadline to the end of April. If the roles are still open, we will hold Round Three until June. We'll be back with more news soon.

Hello hello! We are on the final day of February, and that means we are one month away from closing Round One of auditions! Call backs will begin March 11, 2026. If you are considered for a role, you will receive a message through Discord on this day or after. If a role is decided during this period, they will be casted and closed. Round two will begin Mid-April for the roles that are uncasted. If you have any further question, please feel free to reach out. Thank you.

Caine is a man in his late twenties or early thirties. As a public figure, he has an image to uphold for his sake and the sake of his family. As The Ring Master, his voice has a certain edge to it - almost like he enjoys toying with his victims.
IN THE MASK - As the leader of The Circus, he holds himself with an air of showmanship and coldness. This persona is only seen by those he captures and torments. He uses this mask as an escape, as way to fulfill his dreams of protecting those who are taken advantage of.
OUT OF THE MASK - As himself, Caine is an anxious ball of nerves. Raised as a people pleaser and "the fun guy," he is haunted by these titles. As the eldest son of the First Family, he constantly has eyes on him - whether it be the paparazzi or his father's own PI.

Reggie is a man in his late forties. He is a retired military man and the co-owner of the Royal Choice Shelter for the lost. He is the father figure for many of those who pass through his doors. He has since retired from his role in The Purge and now serves as a mentor to The Circus.
IN THE MASK - As he no longer participates, only rumors are left about his time on the streets. Many say that he is a merciless man, slaughtering those who either wronged him or those under his wing. They say that he was one of the top players in the manipulation game.
OUT OF THE MASK - As himself, Reggie is a sweet gentleman. He may not make the most sense when he speaks but it is still advice taken to the heart. Acting as the voice of reason for many of his protegees, Reggie is credited for turning the lives of so many people into something worth living

Cosmo is a man in his late twenties. He is a man of few words, a former military man himself before being discharged due to an injury. He is everyone's big brother figure, no matter which way the age gap goes. He once belonged to The Royal Court, but now goes freelance after their disbandment.
IN THE MASK - Cosmo becomes a different person once he dons the face paint. He is one of the few who use the night to due some senseless damage. He has no target, no reason, but all the time to toy with his victims.
