Circusatelier Woesh is a non-profit organization that connects people through circus, with a special focus on individuals with specific support needs. Circus is an accessible art form that develops talents and encourages collaboration between people and cultures. From its base in Bruges and Ostend, Woesh inspires West Flanders.
To the vacancy
Woesh is looking for instructors for weekly classes (in Bruges and Ostend) and collaborations with schools. We are looking for instructors for children, teenagers, and adults in the following disciplines: multicircus, acro, acro-porté, acro-yoga, aerial acro, aerial yoga, and flow arts. We are looking for inspiring individuals interested in teaching circus classes and workshops. You already have experience teaching/working with one of the target groups and/or experience in various circus techniques. We can provide training support where needed.
Besides teaching regular weekly courses, you can also carry out or organize various projects, such as school projects, workshops, or animation. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and contribute your own ideas. We offer the opportunity to develop and market your own projects/performances.
At Woesh, you'll join a team of teachers with years of experience. The regular courses are supported by an assistant teacher. Celebrating and encouraging diversity in the broadest sense (perspectives, ideas, culture, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc.) is a key focus at Woesh and is taken into account in our selection of candidates. Woesh also prefers candidates from the West Flanders region, and more specifically, the Bruges/Ostend area.
