Circusplaneet is a Ghent organization where the passion for circus is central. Circus is their means to let people grow and connect individually and in groups. Together they strive for an open, diverse and warm society. In order to further provide their lessons for the youngest participants with quality, they are looking for a circus teacher!
Your responsibilities
* you supervise circus activities in which the circus methodology and pedagogy of Circusplaneet are central: cooperation, trust, hard work, fun, entrepreneurship, dealing with risks, development of identity.
* you supervise circus camps during the school holidays.
* you provide tailor-made workshops (during events, for local schools, at facilities, for children with disabilities, etc.).
* you participate in various consultation moments: teacher meeting, cluster meeting, theme meeting (e.g. presentation moments).

* if you prefer to work with children between the ages of 6 and 12.
* if you have a good foundation in most circus techniques or if you are motivated to learn this.
* if you agree that diversity is a part of life and therefore also within circus activities.
* if you have experience in (circus) teaching, the pedagogical world is not strange to you.
* if you enjoy motivating others to be the best they can be.
* if you enjoy working together and are open to the input of others.
* if you're that person who can come up with a creative game in 30 seconds.
* if you have the space to work flexibly and help out where necessary.

What do we offer?
* a permanent contract, for 19 hours/week.
* a salary within scale B1c of PC329.01 – max. 5 years of relevant seniority.
