Description:Job SummaryWe are looking for a Head of Music (Maternity Cover) who will be responsible for leading the programming of music for the Roundhouse at both a strategic and operational level. Job Description The Role The Head of Music is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for leading the programming of music for the Roundhouse at both a strategic and operational level. The role leads the high-performing Commercial Music team (Senior Music Programmer, Music Event Manager and Music Events Coordinator), as well as working collaboratively with the Artistic and Youth Programming departments to create a dynamic and diverse music offer across the year for a wide range of audiences. Weekend and evening work will be required according to business needs. The role requires extensive collaboration with External Promoters, Agents, and Artist Management, so you are known for exceptional account management with considerable experience of negotiating complex commercial contracts, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Leading a high-performing team, you have a commitment to people management, a strong team-working ethos coupled with a personal drive, and a collaborative approach to problem solving. The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check, or be willing to undertake one due to the nature of the role.
