The Head of Lighting & Video will work with the Company Stage Manager, Production Manager, alongside the rest of the technical team and the cast and creatives, to facilitate all lighting and video requirements of The Party Girls tour, September-October 2025.

£850 per week, plus travel, subsistence and touring allowance

Job Requirements
Extensive operational experience of theatrical lighting
Experience of working with video
Experience managing a department and relighting productions on tour
Experience as a lighting operator and using ETC consoles
Touring experience
Excellent technical knowledge and skills, specifically confidence QLab
Experience in scheduling and managing a department
knowledge of rigging lighting and video systems
A calm and practical approach to technical troubleshooting
Knowledge of current health and safety and CDM legislation
The ability to work well with others and to work calmly under pressure
Good communication and organisational skills
The ability to work under minimal supervision and to adapt work in accordance with performance requirements
The ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Job Responsibilities
To work with the Production Manager, Lighting Designer, Video Designer, Production Electrician and lighting team to coordinate the hire and preparation of equipment, venue supplies and consumables, during technical rehearsals and throughout the tour
To operate the lighting and video during shows and support with all lighting and video department system maintenance throughout technical rehearsals and performances
To ensure the smooth running of the production lighting and video, including running daily rig checks and maintenance as required
To liaise directly with the Production Manager, Production Electrician, Company Stage Manager, members of the creative team and other production departments throughout the production period to uphold the lighting and video designs
To re-light the production to a high standard in each venue and to maintain this standard throughout the tour
To ensure that the video system is installed and operational
