We have experienced continued growth embracing our mission, Raise Your Experience.RWS Entertainment Group is currently seeking a Director of Operations for the RWS Fun Crew, RWS’ reimagined staffing solution for the leisure and attractions industry. Reporting to the VP, Production Operations, the RWS Fun Crew’s Director of Operations (D.O.) is responsible for developing the overall operational strategy, oversight and implementation for staffing projects from client proposal through contract completion. The D.O. works directly with clients, RWS managers, supervisors, Fun Crew staff and creative teams to help guide the RWS staffing program. Role & Responsibilities Forge strong partnerships with clients. Develop operational best practices that helps elevate Fun Crew’s reputation with both clients and Fun Crew members. Work with finance on budget creation and oversight, expenditure tracking, invoice and bill-back submissions. Management of pre-install, install, operation and close-out of each Fun Crew location. Create and approve Fun Crew team job descriptions, production schedules and day-to-day operational schedules with adherence to client deadlines. Handle all operational issues quickly and efficiently with health and safety being paramount. HR experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Ability to work with Legal/Business Affairs and HR team on conflict resolution, as needed. Approve all operational elements keeping in mind the “opertainment” nature of the Fun Crew. Must be able to give direction that aligns with RWS standards and meets client needs. Ability to look at logistical problems and come up with creative solutions while partnering with clients. Must be able to partner with Senior Recruiter and recruitment team to ensure all Fun Crew staffing levels are filled and maintained throughout the contract life cycle. Qualifications 6-8 years of experience working in theme park operations Microsoft Office Suite proficiency Advanced written and oral communication skills Personable and approachable Time management / multi-tasking Organization A flexible schedule allowing for irregular work hours and travel as needed Self-motivating and ability to work independently Complex problem solving A valid passport for the duration of employment for all travel-related roles.
