ROYO & CURVE are looking for experienced Production staff for the 2026 UK & Ireland Tour of Legally Blonde The Musical.
Job Description
A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.

PRODUCTION DATES:

Rehearsals in Leicester: 5th January 2026 - 31st January 2026

Tech Rehearsals: 2nd February 2026 - 6th February 2026

Curve Performances: 7th February 2026 - 21st February 2026

Tour Performances: 24th February 2026 - 2nd January 2027**

Job Requirements
Maintaining the Production as instructed and following artistic requirements
Working alongside your team, other technical departments, stage management, the acting company, resident creative team members and theatre staff
Ensure the efficient flow of information as necessary for the smooth running of the show
Attending all rehearsals, show calls, maintenance calls, get-in, fit-up and get-out as required by your Head of Department or the Company Manager, including emergency calls in the event of equipment failure or other incident
Assisting with the operation and maintenance of all equipment, including equipment checks prior to each performance, as requested by your Head of Department, Conducting maintenance, and overseeing that materials and equipment are kept in a tidy and secure manner
Having an awareness of understudy and swing performances ahead of each show and making necessary adjustments
Job Responsibilities
A proven background in lighting control systems and board operating large-scale theatrical productions
Experience in a professional theatre lighting department on touring productions
Problem-solving attitude and calm work under pressure
Excellent communication skills and cross-departmental collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in programming and operating lighting control systems
Familiarity with and adherence to current Health & Safety guidelines relevant to the production is essential, which may include working at height, using appropriate safety equipment and clothing and attending training as deemed necessary.
Excellent punctuality and time management.
