Casting Call: Contemporary Dancers for Eileen Power's Art Show
**Seeking:**
Two contemporary dancers for a live performance piece as part of Eileen Power's art exhibition closing, choreographed by Liz Piccoli
**Performance Details:**
Queen of Rogues Art Gallery is hosting an innovative art show by Eileen Power that blends visual sculpture and performance art to create a fully immersive experience. The contemporary dancers will embody the themes of grief, transformation and the intricacy of human connection serving as living art installations interacting with the visual works including a 2-3 minute choreographed piece.
**Roles:**
1. **Lead Dancer #1**
*Gender:* Female-Identifying
*Age Range:* 18-40
*Dance Style:* Contemporary with strong improvisational skills. Must be comfortable with abstract storytelling through movement as well as emotionally expressive. Partnering a must. Experience in site-specific work or performing in unconventional spaces is a plus.
2. **Lead Dancer #2**
*Gender:* Male-Identifying
*Age Range:* 18-40
*Dance Style:* Contemporary with a focus on sharp, defined movement. Partner work is a must- emotionally expressive and technical. Experience in site- specific work or performing in unconventional spaces is a plus.
**Audition Information:**
Please prepare a 1 minute solo demonstrating your movement style and improvisational abilities.
**Performance Date- Nov. 2nd 6-9pm**
**Rehearsal Schedule:** Nov. 1st (in upstate New York- Woodstock area)
