Description:Job Description Summary: The Circus Program Coordinator works under the direct supervision of the Circus Program Director and assists with the delivery of the department programs; Circus, Dance, and Gymnastics. This includes leading classes, communicating with families, and supporting registration. The Circus Program Coordinator is also responsible for aspects of assisting with “road shows” in which the Great Y Circus is representing the YMCA.Required Qualifications: Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing, and maintains confidentiality and a productive working relationship with others Must be available up to 25 hours per week, including evening and weekends Demonstrates the YMCA’s Mission and Character Core Values in and out of job role Minimum 2-3 years Circus program or related experience Experience with Microsoft 365, experience Daxko or CRM a plus Desired Skills: Familiar with or able to Rig circus equipment Comfortable at work at heights Essential Functions: Assists with written and oral communication to program participants Assists with running rosters and cross-checking participants for proper registration and payment Supports daily circus, gymnastics and dance program operations Assists with YMCA Sustaining Campaign and other fundraising events as needed Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and special events as called upon Responsible for knowing and implementing all emergency procedures as needed Ability to implement solutions to challenging situations by analytical reasoning or research Responds to telephone, email and in-person requests in a timely and informative manner Follows the YMCA personnel policies, practices, salary administration plan, emergency procedures and risk management procedures (Reasonable accommodation will be made available to individuals with disabilities who are able to perform the essential functions of the job.) Physical Requirements: Ability to perceive and discriminate odors, colors, textures and sounds. Work involves sitting for an extended length of time while working on the computer or making phone calls.
