Main Responsibilities:
Participate in and support all school activities and contribute to its development.
Teach and promote circus arts.
Develop, lead, and evaluate sessions, workshops, and school interventions within the framework of circus arts education.
Supervise circus workshops for all audiences.
Handle and install specific equipment according to professional standards and safety recommendations.
Maintain educational equipment and aerial rigging; report wear and tear or failure of safety systems (mats, landing pads, rigging systems, etc.).
Communicate internally and externally: with the Board of Directors, the educational and administrative manager, and parents.
Requirements:
Qualifications: BIAC, TIAC, BPJEPS (Circus), or DE (Circus Teacher) diploma, or equivalent qualifying training.
Skills: Autonomy in assigned tasks, sense of responsibility, strong interpersonal skills, a passion for teaching, motivation, and personal involvement.
License: Valid Category B driver's license required.
Experience: Experience supervising children and/or teenagers.
Organizational Position & Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Association's Board, the Administrative Manager, and the Educational Manager, working in collaboration with other circus instructors.
Resources: The instructor will have access to all circus equipment within the limits of their own skills. For most workshops, they will work in a pair with another instructor.
Work Location: This position is based at the school premises and involves travel to various sites (schools, leisure centers, or specialized facilities). This requires driving a utility vehicle and loading/unloading equipment (lifting required).
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract (CDD) starting September 2026. Hours to be determined (26 or 28 annualised hours). Potential for transition to a permanent contract (CDI).
Monthly Salary: Based on skills and diplomas. Animation Collective Agreement (Eclat), minimum coefficient 257.
