An exciting opportunity is available for talented circus artists to join a vibrant production of The Rocky Horror Show. We are actively seeking both ground and aerial performers for a series of electrifying shows scheduled from October 15th to 24th at the renowned LUSH Lounge & Theater in Minneapolis. This paid engagement offers a $600 stipend for participation. Successful candidates will deliver 2-3 captivating acts per performance, seamlessly integrated with live musical numbers performed by our cast and band. While audience interaction may be part of your role, there is no requirement to memorize lines, complex choreography, or musical cues, with the delightful exception of the iconic 'Time Warp' sequence. We champion individuality and artistic expression, aiming for each act to be distinct and memorable. Versatility is highly valued, and we are committed to collaborating closely with artists to craft performances that truly showcase their unique skills and strengths. Standard apparatuses will be supplied for performances, though artists with specialized equipment may be asked to provide their own. Aerialists are encouraged to explore a wide range of disciplines suitable for the venue, including lyra, silks, rope, chain, trapeze, ladder, partner acrobatics, flying pole, and more. Ground performers can impress with contortion, lollipop, pole artistry, belly dance, fire dance, juggling, balancing acts, or even up-close magic.
