YOUR MISSION
Reporting to the Senior Director - Casting and Artist Contract Management, you will be required to Perform coordination support tasks for all projects and activities fulfilled by casting advisors for sourcing of artists and casting calls for all Cirque du Soleil shows in creation and operations.
Sourcing and Casting Database:
•Screen online applications in the casting database and dispatch files for evaluation for to Casting Advisors, Talent Scouts and external Partners;
•Communicate with artists, verify their interest, availability, request additional information and document their files in the Casting databank;
•Ensure coordination of Casting Actions - Scouting and Auditions – and plan the logistics, confirm audition venue, coordinate participants and ensure post-action follow up;
•Interact with casting partners or other business contacts;
•Document reports in the vesting databank, upload information and link videos;
•Effectuate online search for information and prepare reports.
Casting calls:
•Coordinate research and presentations, assist Casting Advisors in preparation and documentation of presentation notes;
•Act as liaison with other departments (immigration, P-Med, Coaching, shows, etc), as necessary;
•Produce reports and analytics, on request;
•Perform other connected and administrative tasks.
YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE
•Over 3 years of professional experience in an administrative or coordination role in the field of performing arts, communications, or marketing;
•Excellent proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken. Another foreign language is a strong asset;
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
•Good computer skills or good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite;
•Experience if working with databases is an asset;
•Ability to work under pressure and in ambiguous situations, and manage priorities;
•Diplomacy and discretion in all communications;
•Ability to work in a team;
•Flexibility and high level of adaptability;
•Possess relevant academic training associated with expertise.
