All forms of contemporary dance are eligible and the formats are free.

The jury will pay particular attention to artistic creation projects:
- deploying a dramaturgical writing,
- combining aesthetics (dance, music, plastic arts, video, etc.),
- part of an approach of social and environmental responsibility and/or combining socio-educational or cultural mediation actions.

Candidate projects must:
• Be the subject of an original artistic creation, currently under construction but not yet distributed;
• Be presented to the public, in mainland France, within one or two seasons.

ELIGIBILITY

• Be a professional performing arts association domiciled in France, operating mainly in the contemporary dance sector,
• Have a legal existence of at least 2 years on the day of the application,
• Have an established professional practice in the field of contemporary dance,
• Have a minimum structure in terms of support (in charge of administration and/or dissemination, external support, etc.)
• Be eligible for the sponsorship tax regime (articles 200 and 238 bis of the general tax code),
• Have created at least 2 shows presented to the public over the last 3 years
• Present an original creative project to build or under construction and not completed on the day of application.

This call for projects does not concern “young audience” shows.
The call does not concern event-oriented projects, projects of a religious, confessional or political nature, assistance for business creation, or sponsorship.
Resumptions, extensions, commissions or projects under the direction of or in collaboration with an artist, an institution or a company of recognized notoriety cannot be supported.

PROPOSED SUPPORT

Several angles of support may be proposed following the request of the candidate structures for a total amount of financial support which may represent up to €30,000, over a period of 1 to 3 years, and including for example: -
Financial participation to the production budget,
- Support for the provision of a place of residence to prepare the creation
- Support for the distribution of the show
- Other support, depending on the requests expressed and the possibilities of implementation

The allocation awarded may not exceed 50% of the total project budget.
A sponsorship agreement will be formalized between the Endowment Fund and the winning structure.

CALENDAR

The call for choreographic creation projects is open until Thursday April 18, 2024 inclusive.
Preselected candidates will be informed to participate in an audition which will take place in Paris at the beginning of June 2024. The choice of the winner will be made at the end of June 2024.

A complete application file should be sent by email to the following address contact@fonds -haplotes.org until April 18, 2024 including:
- The completed and signed application file,
- All the documents in PDF format, the list of which is indicated in the application file.
Candidates can attach any additional documents or internet links that they consider relevant for the presentation of their structure or the understanding of their project (captures, videos, creations already produced, etc.), provided that they are transmitted exclusively via email. of the call for projects.



For the record, the 3 winners of the Haplotès Fund in 2023 were:

WHIP by Georges Labbat from the company Bleu Printemps, whose creation took place on February 9, 2024 at the Carreau du Temple in Paris.

General Battle of the Petite Foule Production company; premiered in November 2024 at the Espace des Arts, national stage of Chalon-sur-Saône.

About Lambada from the company Collectif Es; creation in March 2025 at the Val de Marne Dance Biennale

The 2023 Jury also awarded 2 support prizes to:

Nuit.s creation by Nathan Arnaud from the company Murmuration; show created in November 2024 at the Foirail theater in Chemilly-en-Anjou

XXX creation by Pauline Tremblay of the Replay&Display company; show created in December 2024, at Collectif 12 in Mantes la Jolie.
