Job Summary
The hugely successful, long-running West End production of smash-hit musical SIX is looking for an Assistant Stage Manager/Book Cover to join the stage management team at the Vaudeville Theatre, starting in January 2025.
Job Description
We are looking for applicants with demonstrable professional experience working as an Assistant Stage Manager (Book Cover). The role requires someone who has exceptional people skills, strong communication and organisational skills, can keep calm under pressure, and has a positive, flexible and proactive attitude.
Salary: £750 per week (plus applicable Sunday payments)
Contract dates: Immediate- 12-month contract
Show schedule: Performances are 6 days per week, Tuesday - Sunday
Job Requirements
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with excellent attention to detail.
A proactive and flexible attitude.
The ability to work well with creative teams, actors and other members of the company.
The ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritise.
Previous experience calling musicals.
A calm and practical approach to technical troubleshooting.
Knowledge of SOLT and Equity union agreements.
Awareness of current Health & Safety legislation including LOLER, RA and Working at Height.
