SEEKING VERSATILE CIRCUS ARTISTS for REDFEST, a research and development showcase in Southwest France featuring two original productions created by two different director–choreographer teams and performed by the same ensemble. If you have:
- At least two strong circus disciplines
- Versatility across dance, improvisation, and devised creation
-Confidence, adaptability, and curiosity in collaborative processes
- Willingness to explore beyond a primary act and contribute to group work
- Comedic timing, professionalism, and pride in craft
- A love of performing and a vibrant, life‑affirming stage presence
Ideal candidates thrive in ensemble environments, enjoy creative exploration, and bring both technical excellence and expressive personality to the stage.

Requirements:

1 x MALE ACROBAT JUGGLER suave & charming
1 x MIXED ADAGIO/H2H DUO with comedy & interesting additional acts welcome such as Balloon Acts & Roller Blades.
1 x MIXED AERIAL DUO with Solo & Duo Straps, Fly Pole & female aerial : Hoop &/or Dance Trapeze.
1 X MALE HANDSTAND ARTIST able to balance on canes & other props

Prepare To Present:

CV'S & Show reels.
Attend an online interview.

Additional Information:

1. Travel to: www.centredecreation.com
2. Travel to CDC on Monday 29th June
3. Rehearsals will begin on Tuesday 30th June
4. 5.5 days per week (0900 to 17.00 Monday to Friday, half day on Saturday), day off on Sunday.
5. 3 x performances to a non-paying public on 30th 31st and 1st August.
5. Depart on Sunday 2nd August.
6. Travel costs covered from Europe & the UK.
7. Fee: 580 Euros per week x 5 weeks - 435 euros after tax.
This fee is subject to an obligatory French tax of 15% which can be reclaimed and we will issue the relevant certificate for this. French Artists can be paid through their association to collect their ‘intermittant ‘credits.
8. Enjoy an amazing creation space & bring your swimming costume for the swimming pool & the Dordogne River!
