Join our vibrant community as the Aerial Arts Program Director! This is an exciting opportunity to work with talented young artists, lead a growing recreational and competitive aerial arts program, and help bring creative visions to life.
Key Responsibilities|
Instruct recreational students in Aerial Silks/Fabric (required)
Coach and lead our performance and competitive aerial arts teams (required)
Teach additional apparatus such as Hoop/Lyra and others (a plus)
Mentor, coach, and train direct reports (approx. 10 hours/week)
Handle administrative tasks needed to run a successful aerial arts program (approx. 10 hours/week)
Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment that blends our program with the broader community.
Work closely with children and families to ensure a positive experience for all.
Work Environment & Benefits

Requirements:
Proven experience instructing Aerial Silks (2 years+)
Experience coaching and leading performance or competitive teams
Ability to teach other apparatus (e.g., Hoop/Lyra) is a plus
Rigging certification is a plus
Must pass and maintain a green light background check
Able to bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds
Passion for working with children and building community

Certifications: Copies of any relevant certifications, such as rigging certification or safety training (if available).
Portfolio or Video Samples: Demonstrations of teaching, coaching, or performance (if requested), especially for roles involving artistic direction or team leadership.

Background Check Consent: Willingness and ability to pass and maintain a green light background check, as required for the role.
Physical Readiness: Confirmation of ability to meet physical requirements (bending, stooping, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds).
