We are looking for a Deputy Technical & Production Manager to support in the efficient running of all aspects of the Production department, including leading the department in the manager's absence.
The Deputy Technical & Production Manager will ensure that all technical equipment, facilities and Health and Safety aspects of the department are delivered to the highest quality. They will lead, manage and motivate the team and supervise the day to day running of the Watermill theatre, delivering a welcoming and professional venue for all visiting companies, creatives, performances and events.

We are seeking a Sound and Video Technician to join our wider Technical Team at Curve. You get to work on our programme of Visiting Work and Made at Curve Productions.
Job Description
As a member of the Sound & Video department, you will require experience installing and mixing live Sound for different styles of show with a commitment to achieving high standards with the resources available. This role will require experience in a professional theatre environment.
The post holder will rig, operate and maintain the Sound systems for Visiting and Made at Curve productions across all three spaces at Curve. Experience operating Qlab is essential with programming experience advantageous. Due to the nature of the role, regular evening and weekend work will be required.

Job Description
To assist the Chief Electrician as directed with regard to the operation and maintenance of all lighting equipment.
Dates: 2 November 2025 (TBC prep days before this) - 2 February 2026.
Job Responsibilities
The Assistant Electrician will assist the Chief Electrician in operating the lighting and video equipment for each performance as instructed by the Lighting Designer and Video Designer including all moving and generic lights, projection and all effects.
To attend all get-in, fit-up and get-outs as required.
To operate follow-spots as required.
To assist the Chief Electrician in preparing cue sheets and effects lists and provide this information to the Stage Manager.
To assist the Chief Electrician in ensuring all equipment is unpacked and prepared at each venue of the tour.
To assist the Chief Electrician in coordinating the get-out of lighting equipment at each venue, and in preparing equipment ready for loading at the end of the run and to assist other departments until the completion of the get-out at each venue.
To assist the Chief Electrician in ensuring that all equipment is maintained and in safe working order.
Any other duties as may be reasonably required.

Location: Rehearsals/Technical rehearsals in Bristol. Performances in Bristol & Birmingham.
Contract: Full time, fixed term, Equity Subsidised Theatre Agreement (MRSL 1).

Job Description
Zaynab and Connor work in an American Candy store. It's closing time and a customer still hasn't left. 10 minutes later, they're hiding her unconscious body in a basement. In the following commotion, their secrets are revealed.
American Candy is a thrilling dark comedy about capitalist corruption, "bullsh*t jobs", and the distrust it all generates. And how these anxieties are projected onto minorities. It tackles "American" cultural imperialism, rise of the far right and increased racism and misogyny in the UK.
