INTRODUCING THE ONLINE CREATION LAB 2026: A NEW INTERNATIONAL PLATFORM FOR EMBODIED JUGGLING RESEARCH AND ARTISTIC INNOVATION
The Online Creation Lab 2026 launches as a new global initiative dedicated to exploring juggling as an embodied, expressive, and evolving language. Designed as a meeting ground for diverse creative practices, the Lab welcomes movers, jugglers, dancers, educators, and interdisciplinary artists from around the world — regardless of experience level or chosen prop. Unlike traditional technique-driven courses, the Online Creation Lab proposes a new model: a shared artistic ecosystem where ideas, bodies, and objects intersect. Participants are invited to work with any prop or material — balls, clubs, hoops, rings, stones, sticks, fabric, found objects, or even no object at all. The focus is on creative research, not technical mastery, making the Lab accessible to beginners and professionals alike. 2026 INAUGURAL ARTIST EDITION - Marcelo “Mamute” Rodini (Brazil) — Dramaturgical movement research connecting body, memory, and presence. - Marianna De Sanctis (Italy) — Hoop artistry blending dance, theatre, and emotional narrative. - Mateo Lasso (Colombia) — Visual composition and body–object research grounded in poetic structure. - Liza van Brakel (Netherlands / Belgium) — Minimalist manipulation, somatic nuance, and spatial sensitivity. - Ariane Öchsner (Germany / Austria) — Hybrid movement research integrating juggling, choreography, and conceptual inquiry. - Liam Wilson (Scotland / Berlin) — Juggling as language: rhythm, narrative, and expressive movement. - Dani Corradi (Argentina) — Freestyle club exploration rooted in identity and improvisational force. - Otavio Fantinato (Brazil) — Object dramaturgy and kinetic transformation through contact juggling and invention. ABOUT THE LAB The Online Creation Lab offers a structured yet spacious environment where participants explore personal research through guided provocations, reflective dialogue, and embodied inquiry. Free from the constraints of object specificity or technical prerequisites, the Lab invites artists to shape their creative vocabulary according to their own interests, materials, and imaginative impulses.
