14th WEST COAST AERIAL ARTS FESTIVAL - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
The West Coast Aerial Arts Festival (WCAAF) proudly returns for its 14th annual edition, continuing its legacy as one of the longest-standing aerial arts competitions in the United States. Produced by Aerial Arts America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing aerial arts education and development, the festival brings together artists from across the nation and around the world in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Founded in 2013 as one of the first aerial arts competitions in the United States to welcome participants without audition or pre-selection, WCAAF was created to provide accessible opportunities for performers of all backgrounds and experience levels. Today, it remains committed to fostering growth, recognition, and meaningful connections within the aerial and circus arts community.

The festival features a multi-day competition spanning 30+ categories and divisions, showcasing a wide range of aerial apparatus and performance styles. Participants, ranging in age from youth to senior adults, compete for Top 3 placements in each category, as well as overall titles in Amateur, Elite, and Professional levels, with cash prizes awarded to top overall performers.

In addition to its aerial programming, the 2026 festival introduces a limited expansion into select circus disciplines, including contortion and other circus arts. The structure and divisions for these categories will be determined based on participation, allowing flexibility as the program evolves.

WCAAF also offers an extensive lineup of workshops led by established educators and industry professionals, providing valuable opportunities for skill development and artistic growth. Additional highlights include group collaborative sessions, a silent auction, a vendor marketplace featuring aerial-related products and services, and a scholarship grant program, awarding selected participants with grants of up to $750.

As a program of Aerial Arts America, the festival is supported by a dedicated network of volunteers, sponsors, donors, and community partners. It continues to serve as a platform not only for competition, but for education, collaboration, and the celebration of aerial arts.

The West Coast Aerial Arts Festival invites artists, schools, and enthusiasts to join in this annual gathering and experience four days of performance, learning, and community.
