Hello, my name is Manuela Valverde. I am a 24-year-old circus artist from Chile with a multidisciplinary background in martial arts, dance, and athletics.

My journey began at age 4 with Aikido, I did that from. 12 years, which gave me a strong foundation in discipline and movement. After exploring dance and track and field, I discovered circus arts at 15 and specialized in aerials. My formal training includes a preparatory program in Chile (2021) and a two-year professional preparatory program in Madrid (2022–2024).

I also did an intensive class of modern, contemporary and ballet. And recently I’m doing the circus instructor course of the Ecole de cirque de Montreal.

Recently, I have focused on intensive training in fixed trapeze, aerial rope, handstands, and acrobatics, complemented by contemporary dance and ballet. I am a highly collaborative artist who thrives in both solo research and ensemble work. I am driven by the desire to join a professional company where I can contribute my technical skills and my passion for 'being in the air' to new creative adventures.
