Frédérique studied at l’École Nationale de Cirque de Montréal and at Concordia University in Film Production. She is an interdisciplinary artist who explores the duality between the abstraction of physical movement and the realism of engaged narratives, both on stage and in film. As a filmmaker, her most recent films Pas, Rue de la Victoire, and Coconut have been selected and awarded in over 85 festivals around the world. As a circus artist specializing in aerial hoop, she performed with various international companies such as Palazzo, La Soirée, 7 doigts or Cirque Éloize. Now, Frédérique wants to combine her director's vision with her physical abilities by creating Sorry, a first documentary show that combines circus and narrative.
