I am an aerialist, working mainly on lyra and dance trapeze. I have performed both duo and solo acts.
I have both performance and competition experience on aerial hoop and dance trapeze, which have allowed me to gain different types of experiences and push my limits in different ways. Both performing and competing have tought me how to stay focused and collected during the day leading up to the performance and how to stay confident even with minimal time to rehearse on the site. While performing I gained valuable experiences working with props, such as masks and high heels, and also gained experience in quick costume changes. Meanwhile competing has given me an opportunity to focus on my technique.
In a performance I typically also do multiple dance numbers and some partner stunts/lifts. I have taken modern- and contemporary dance classes as a hobby for nearly ten years growing up and I am grateful to have had the chance to take that to the stage as well. I am fairly new to the "partner stunts world", but I'm progressing very quickly and am confident that, with some practice I can do any trick I set my mind to.
I have truly found my passion in aerial arts, and while I am currently most confident on the aerial hoop and the dance trapeze, I have dabbed my feet into trying out most apparatuses, like the straps, the silks, the flying pole, the rope, the chains and hammock. I have been regularly taking pole sports classes for a few years as well and recently started teaching them too. I have also tried out cheerleading and have prevously studied acting for four years.
Currently looking for a chance to perform aerial acts.
