Cynthia Dragoni

I am a a former professional ballerina and am now a ballet based multidisciplinary artist and director in NYC. I currently direct The Ballet Institute in Brooklyn and produce multi medium performances in collaboration with sculptors, visual, light, and circus artists.

 I have a comprehensive understanding of performance creation and production, from the development and training of the artist to the managing of the show. My deepest interest is in innovation and development in dance and multi media performance experience. 

 I have extensive experience staging ballet and circus performances, developing and choreographing dance works, dramaturgy, performances arc, supporting artists’ morale, managing schedules, directing rehearsals, stage managing and running an arts organisation in NYC.
