Duo Cirque Ular

Monica Aguilar and Rodrigo Gil are a dynamic circus duo united by their shared passion for art and creativity. Rodrigo is a skilled juggler, specializing in balls and rings, while Monica is a talented dancer and aerialist. Together, they have crafted unique acts that blend their disciplines, creating captivating performances that merge poetry and acrobatics in a refreshing and artistic way. They each offer compelling solo acts in aerial and juggling, and together they present a full 45-minute show, along with acts of Duo Straps with Adagio and  a unique act of Aerial Hoop with Ring Juggling.


Rodrigo is a graduate from French National Lido Circus School and has 16 years of experience and over 1,000 performances in prestigious venues worldwide (GOP Varieté, MSC cruises, French national opera, international juggling galas, parades, and contemporary circus companies) Has also offered workshops and assisted in show creation and dramaturgy.

Monica is a graduate in Performing Arts with a specialization in Contemporary Dance, she has 16 years of experience in scenic arts and 10 years in contemporary circus. She specializes in aerial techniques and has also performed in duo adagio, clowning, and theater. Monica's projects include collaborations with Machine de Cirque, MSC Cruises, La Fura des Baus and Alma: Rythms of the Night, with performances in Canada, Mexico, Colombia, and Europe. She also has experience as a coach and in cultural management.
