Andrea started dancing at 6, training in contemporary, leading her to win First Place at an international competition hosted by the China Dancers Association in Hong Kong. At 17, she discovered her passion for Hip-Hop and explored various possibilities to approach different dance styles. She trained in both choreography and street styles, developing a foundation in locking, popping, and house, blending her contemporary background with rhythm, groove, and texture.
Her performance credits include Higher with 2.0 Dance Company with Carl Mandac and Shane Tubog, Soulchild with Dominic Cooper-Clarke and Miambi Kasse, Alexander’s piece with Garage Dance Company, and performing Fallin at Prelude Dance Competition with Movmnt Collective.
As a choreographer, Andrea aims to express her authentic feelings while connecting with the music, using technique, storytelling, and texture and dynamics. Her choreography emphasizes the musicality, intricacy, and emotional connection.
