Alita Kneeland

I’m a movement artist incorporating dance and aerial arts, specializing in aerial pole with experience on aerial hoop, trapeze, and silks, as well as specialty apparatus including aerial frame.

My work is rooted in dance, with an emphasis on musicality, line, and emotive storytelling, punctuated by dynamic aerial movement. After three years of training at École nationale de cirque, I’m continuing my professional circus training at École de cirque de Québec.

I’m especially interested in contemporary circus, theatrical productions, and multidisciplinary work that brings together movement, aerial arts, and storytelling.
