We are casting skilled performers in the following genres:
solo and duo straps (male, female)
Chinese pole (male, female)
Russian swing base and flyer (male, female or group)
handstand (male, female)
contact juggling (male, female)
parkour dancer (male, female)
Casting schedule
The first and second rounds of casting are currently open and will remain so until January 31, 2025.
Early submission for the first round is encouraged, allowing participants more time to prepare for subsequent rounds.
First round:
Applications are to be sent by e-mail to [email protected] with the following documents and videos (files bigger than 1MB must be sent via file sharing:
- curriculum vitae
- 2 recent photographs: 1 profile and 1 full body
- 2 recent videos: a complete act and 1 skill sequence showreel
Second round:
Applicants selected in the first round will receive 2 videos (choreography and acting) and are to learn the sequences presented in the videos, record themselves and send the recordings via a private YouTube, vimeo or Google Drive link to the [email protected] address.
Final stage:
The final round of the selection process will be by invitation only and will take place at the end of February 2025. Applicants selected in the second round will be invited to Recirquel’s Budapest headquarters for an in-person creative workshop with Bence Vági, artistic director of the company.

Production schedule
- Full time rehearsals based in Budapest in the rehearsal space of Recirquel from April 2025.
- Performance period in Budapest from October 2025, requiring min. 1-year availability.
- The show will take place in an immersive performance space in a building situated in central Budapest, Hungary.
