St Mary's University runs The Exchange arts venue in the centre of Twickenham, providing space for community arts, wellbeing and cultural activities; a programme of theatre productions, music gigs, comedy, lectures and film screenings. The venue creates opportunities for St Mary's staff and students, the local community and contributes to the artistic life of the local area. As Technical Supervisor you will co-ordinate and supervise technical matters in the venue, ensuring that technical requirements are in place and delivered for all events, including shows, hires and academic events, and you will work on events as necessary. You will ensure that community groups and and external hires receive the technical support they need and you will be an important point of contact for the functioning of all technical aspects of the venue in relation to the delivery of events.
