Stage Manager – Off-Broadway Dance Theater Production (11 to Midnight)

Production: 11 to Midnight
Venue: Orpheum Theatre – New York, NY
Producer: 11 to Midnight LLC
Start Date: Week of March 23, 2026

11 to Midnight is a dance-theater production created by Cost n’ Mayor (Austin & Marideth Telenko) and Hideaway Circus (Josh & Lyndsay Aviner), currently running at the historic Orpheum Theatre in the East Village. The show blends contemporary dance, theatrical storytelling, and immersive staging.

We are seeking an experienced Stage Manager to join the production team for the remainder of the current run and potential extensions.

Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all backstage operations during rehearsals, tech, and performances
- Coordinating the Assistant Stage Manager, Board Operator, and Wardrobe team
- Maintaining run-of-show execution including props, scenic shifts, and quick changes
- Preparing and distributing performance reports and maintaining show documentation
- Monitoring performer and crew calls and maintaining backstage safety
- Supporting rehearsals, spacing sessions, and technical notes runs as needed
- Maintaining a calm, professional, and collaborative backstage environment

Schedule:
- Approximately 7-8 performances per week
- Rehearsal and maintenance calls as needed

Compensation:
- $1,250 per week
- Covers rehearsals, tech, and up to 8 performances per week
- Additional performances paid at $125 per show
- Additional approved calls paid hourly

Status:
- Employee (payroll with standard withholdings)
- Non-union / non-jurisdictional production

Qualifications:
- Previous stage management experience in live theater or dance productions
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage a fast-paced backstage environment with performers and technical staff
- Professional demeanor and strong attention to safety and detail
