Description:Job SummaryThe purpose of the Technical Stage Manager is, including but not limited to, running the technical elements of the production both in rehearsal and during live performances and being the first point of contact to troubleshoot any issues during a live performance Job Description Job Title: Technical Stage Manager Responsible to: General Management and Company Manager Start date: February/March 2025 - TBC End date: Tuesday 5th August 2025 Rehearsal rate: £669.62/week The Production Life of Pi is a 5-time Olivier Award-winning play setting off on a four-month tour across mainland China, Macau & Tawain. The production has just come to the end of its first experience of international touring by travelling to Toronto, Abu Dhabi & Mumbai. The production has been praised for its on-stage diversity, skilled puppetry work and complex use of Video and Automation. The play tells the story of a teenager marooned on a lifeboat with a variety of animals (including a Bengal tiger). It is adapted from Yann Martel's celebrated novel by Lolita Chakrabarti, with direction by Max Webster, Set and Costume Design by Tim Hatley and Puppet and Movement Direction by Finn Caldwell.
