A brand new Goes Wrong from Mischief will tour the UK from November and cause chaos in London this Christmas. We are a company that offers a work culture that nurtures and encourages personal and professional Job Description Salary: £850 per performance week plus touring allowance & travel Benefits: Access to wellbeing support, First Aid Training if needed, access to physiotherapy and access to company rate tickets Contract: Fixed Term 23 weeks Show schedule: performances are 6 days per week either Monday - Saturday or Tuesday - Sunday depending on each venue's schedule. Holiday: equivalent of 28 days per year Dates: September 2025 - February 2026 Location: Various UK Touring venues & the West End Job Description: To assist the production and Stage Management teams with the running of the production, covering tracks and maintenance; To support the get-in and get-out and work with venue crew; To ensure stage and rehearsal environments are set-up and maintained as required with appropriate set, props, costume, illusions and other effects necessary; To perform the ASM plots as directed by the Stage Manager, including the supervision of show crew and deps as required; To deputise for the Stage Manager where necessary; To learn the book and act as emergency book cover; To recognise where maintenance work needs to be carried out or replacements are required and bring this to the attention of the Stage Manager; To take part in maintenance calls and attend understudy rehearsals as required; Any other reasonable duty that would normally fall within the remit of a Technical Assistant Stage Manager based on industry norms and practice. Job Requirements Personal Attributes: We are looking for applicants with previous Technical ASM experience. The role requires someone who has a calm and practical approach to technical trouble-shooting and the ability to work well in high pressure environments. Last minute cast changes are normal on this production, so applicants must be able to adapt quickly. Person Specification: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with excellent attention to detail; A proactive and flexible attitude; Previous experience of UK Touring; Previous experience of working as a team; The ability to work well with actors and creative team; The ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritise; Awareness of current health & safety legislation; How to Apply Please send a CV to [email protected] with CCGW TECH ASM in the subject line.
