StageLync extends an invitation to visionary performing artists, ensembles, and researchers for a unique creative development opportunity this summer. This residency offers an inspiring environment ideal for cultivating new work, exploring movement, or engaging in rigorous training. The distinctive training ground is situated within the vibrant, industrial setting of Nová Tržnica in Bratislava's Trnavské mýto. Flexible residency periods are available, allowing participants to select either the full duration or specific segments: July 25th – August 9th, and August 22nd – August 31st. The purpose-built facility is well-equipped to support diverse artistic practices. Key features include rigging points at approximately 7m and 8m, complete with pulley systems (two dedicated for lounges). Flooring options range from standard rubber puzzle mats to a professional black dance floor (baletizol). A comprehensive array of safety equipment is provided, including aerial crash mats, various puzzle mats, firm green mats, and gymnastic carpets. For convenience, the space offers a lockable changing room, a fridge, a microwave, and round-the-clock access, ensuring artists can train whenever inspiration strikes. Please note that the market hall maintains a lively public ambiance during daytime hours. Exceptional accommodation is available for selected artists, featuring private rooms within the renowned creative hub, Nová Cvernovka. Residents will benefit from a vibrant community atmosphere, access to an outdoor fireplace, and an on-site sauna, enriching the overall residency experience.
