Description:
With the subsidy for international travel expenses, Flanders wants to give Flemish circus productions the opportunity to participate in international audience-oriented initiatives and increase their financial viability.
The grant can be used for international travel expenses that are directly related to the public-facing presentation event in question.
You can only apply for a subsidy for international travel expenses if you are a non-profit organization with a legal personality and a registered office in Flanders or Brussels. The most common legal structure is a non-profit organization, but you are also eligible if you are a municipality or cooperative that does not distribute profits. Your organization's articles of association can provide clarity on this matter.
You cannot apply for this subsidy if your organization already receives a subsidy under the Circus Decree as a circus studio, circus company, circus center, or for organizing a festival.
There are three grant rounds per year. The next application deadline is October 15, 2024 , for initiatives starting September 1 of the same year.
