Stage Manager to FranceMOSO Co. |
Description:Description of the organizationThe MOSO company is composed of an artistic duo, Christine Pierre and Anatole Zembok, and creates immersive living spaces to build-explore-contemplate, made of living architectures and evolving bamboo structures. For all audiences. The duo highlights the process / gesture of the builder in their different proposals. They design and bring to life different archi-structures by offering audiences freedom to explore these spaces, allowing them to move from contemplation to doing: these installation times create a gathering, mix audiences, and give everyone the opportunity to go back and forth between the place of spectator and actor. Seduced by the efficiency of bamboo which combines mechanical performance, aesthetics and environmental virtues, they have been exploring this material since 2010 (shows, installations, bamboo tents, climbing archi-structures). Their work is situated between the performing arts, crafts and architecture. The MOSO Company, founded in 2011 in Strasbourg, is subsidized by the DRAC Grand-Est, the Grand-Est Region, the Haut-Rhin General Council, and the City of Strasbourg. The Company moved to Occitanie in 2019, where it set up its workshop in Sète within the "L'Astrelier" collective, then in the Cévennes Gardoises today. MORPHOSIS (living installation - participatory construction of a bamboo archi-structure), RHIZOME (installation-show for very young audiences) and VARIATIONS (creations of archi-structures for public spaces) are the projects currently touring nationally and internationally.
