Description:The Texas Shakespeare Festival is a rotating repertory professional theatre in East Texas. Their 2026 season of shows are: Midsummer Night's Dream, Emma, Hamlet, 1776, and The Reluctant Dragon.$5,000 stipend / up to $300 travel / private dorm housing / 11 meals a week Minimum requirements: preferred Master's degree and/or three years of professional stage management experience Responsible for: ● Stage managing two shows in a four-show rotating repertory season ● Organizing and implementing the daily rehearsal schedule ● Scheduling and posting rehearsal and production calls ● Compiling production books that become the property of the festival ● Calling from the control booth the two shows assigned ● Attending all scheduled rehearsals, paper techs, dry techs, technical rehearsals and performances ● Participating, if needed, in media day ● Performing other stage managing duties that are deemed necessary and appropriate ● Assisting with company strike
