Description:

The Texas Shakespeare Festival is a rotating repertory professional theatre in East Texas. Their 2026 season of shows are: Midsummer Night's Dream, Emma, Hamlet, 1776, and The Reluctant Dragon.

May 14 arrive / July 29 depart
$4,500 stipend / up to $300 travel / double occupancy dorm housing / 11 meals a week

Minimum Requirements: Ideal candidate should be self-motivated, safety conscious, and a team player with at least one year of professional experience, or equivalent combination of educational and other theatre experience. The candidate should also have the ability to lift more than 50 pounds and work at heights above 16'.

Responsible for:

● Installing and maintaining the festival sound and video systems and the live sound needs of the musical production
● Recording sessions for voiceover work, sound effects, and music
● Serving on the sound running and changeover crew
● Designing sound for the Children's Play
● Assisting with company strike
