Description:
Works in coordination with the Director/Technical Director/Designers/Artistic Director before and during the development of the sound design for all Mainstage and Popcorn Theatre performances.
● Attends run-throughs.
● Compiles lists of materials and sound supplies and orders necessary items.
● Consults with the Tech Director/Director/Artistic Director concerning any special sound considerations, etc.
● Has all sounds available and cued for tech rehearsals. Makes corrections in accordance with the Director's wishes.
● Has body mics assigned and ready when actors arrive. Conducts pre-show mic checks.
● Runs the sound board during performances.
● Responsible for load-in and strike of all sound components as well as assists others with all load-in and strike operations.
● Maintains clean workspace and ensures the theatre/sound equipment is in good order at the end of the season.
